Due to the negative impact of COVID-19 to small businesses, in 2020, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando and Prospera will not be presenting an award for the Hispanic Business of the Year categories. Instead, both organizations will do a special recognition to the entire small business community for its resiliency and innovation to overcome the challenges presented by the pandemic.

Prior to making your nomination, please review the DQA Eligibility Guidelines and Evaluation Criteria. 2020 winners will be announced on December 2020 at the Don Quijote Awards Gala

The nomination timeline is as follows:

  • December 15, 2019: Nomination period opened

  • August 1, 2020: Deadline to apply

  • November 2020: Press conference announcing finalists

  • December 2020: Winners will be announced at the 23rd Annual Don Quijote Awards Gala
